Description:-
Himalayan Rhubarb extract is a traditional natural dye from the Himalayan mountains between India and Bhutan. The plant grows in altitudes from 3-5000 meters. It yields a deep golden yellow color from its rhizomes with an alum mordant. Shifts in pH will create more yellow or nearly brick red colors.

It gives multiple colours like yellow, reddish brown and rust colour with different mordents and at different ph.
Ayurvedic/Medicinal/Healing Properties :-
Rheum Emodi is rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins. These antioxidants have anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties, which help protect you from many health-related issues such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
Dyeing process :-
Mordant the cellulose Fibers with Alum 10% Wof for 30 mins at 80C.
After Mordanting one wash to the fiber,
Take Rust Red as per the desired shade, for medium take 5% wof and dye the fiber for 1 hour at 100C.
Now wash with non-ionic soap.
